Global challenges, including rising temperatures, water quality issues, and acidification, are increasingly threatening. Therefore, LANDU shoulders the responsibility to offer sustainable solutions to make a difference.

“Our previous work showed us that you could dramatically increase the performance of concrete with the addition of just 0.01 – 0.1 percent of NOVASTAR Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer” said LANDU CTO Mr. Sun, who leads the research and development of sustainable solutions. This is an example of actually making changes, and this optimization comes with a range of benefits, including a formaldehyde-free structure.

A team of chemical and environmental scientists at NOVASTAR works together to design, synthesize, and test top candidates to effectively improve the performance of building materials such as dry-mix mortar and tile adhesive without causing any pollution and environmental burden. Furthermore, to determine the additives’ environmental impact, LANDU conducted toxicity and biodegradability tests in our Environmental Toxicology Laboratory.
