Timeline of LANDU Development

2008

LANDU was first founded by Mr. Cui in Jinan, Shandong Province, in 2008. As a multinational Chinese manufacturer, LANDU has since begun to sell Cellulose Ethers and Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) products.

2011

In 2011, LANDU’s first Cellulose Ether Plant became operational with an initial annual output capacity of 15,000 tons. This vertically integrated manufacturing asset provides end-to-end control over production parameters, quality assurance protocols, and supply chain optimization – a strategic capability that eliminates third-party dependencies and establishes production. It signifies LANDU’s market position as a reliable, self-sufficient producer.

2015

A new RDP factory was established in 2015 to further strengthen the LANDU supply chain and production capacity, strengthening its ability to meet growing market demands and expanding its RDP market scale.

2017

2017 marked LANDU’s strategic inflection point with the initialization of its Jinan Technical Research Center, establishing technical dominance in the Cellulose Ether and RDP markets. This action not only bolstered its research and development capabilities but also highlighted its dedication to delivering innovative and tailored solutions. In addition, 2017 marked LANDU’s walk into the international market, utilizing its expertise to forge a powerful global presence and meet customers worldwide.

2020

The Wuqiao Phase II factory achieved pilot production in 2020, boosting LANDU’s annual cellulose ether capacity to 40,000 tons. This expansion strengthened supply chain resilience across international markets.

2022

Following the 2020 capacity expansion to 40,000 tons of cellulose ether, LANDU further scaled its RDP production capacity to 20,000 tons/year in 2022. At the same time, LANDU got another milestone achievement, the full REACH certification for its entire product portfolio. This year witnessed a new sustainable development goal of making environment-friendly and resource-saving solutions.

2023

Finishing the goal of providing employees with a modern and efficient working environment, LANDU completed its new office building in 2023, representing the successful evolution from an initial sales office to a comprehensive network of production, research, and service sites.
