Local Employment and Skill Development Program

LANDU has a deep understanding and concerns about modern society facing problems, including an aging workforce, low labor productivity growth, persistent regional disparities, and pervasive labor shortage. We decided to take concrete actions to make a difference, and thus implemented the Local Employment and Skill Development Program.

LANDU believes that local employment is an effective way to promote industrial upgrading, which attracts high-end manufacturing talent to settle in. Specifically, LANDU, along with our reliable partners, has attracted 12 upstream and downstream companies within three years through targeted training plans.

We claim that skill development is essential to address the opportunities and challenges to meet the new demands of changing economies and new technologies in the context of globalization. The principles and values of decent work guide the design and delivery of skills development and are an effective way of efficiently managing socially just transitions.
